Design an Affordable Home

Mugal

Will of the People Project are launching an amazing project.

In support of our Affordable Housing Campaign, and to build us a demountable facility we can use to spread the word at the Byron Shire Markets, we are putting out for designs for an elegant modular demountable affordable housing structure.

The outcome of this competition will be the selection of a design and the construction of this design for us to use and display at the Byron Shire Markets.

In addition this competition may enable a cottage industry building affordable housing for our community.

Criteria you should bear in mind

Your envisaged structure(s) should incorporate at least the following criteria

Simplicity

Elegance

Low Cost

Materials

Modularity

Construction/De-construction ease

Portability

Environmental Friendliness

Cozyness/Comfort/Insulation

If you have any questions, please send them to Ricardo Johansson (see Contact above).

Let the competition begin.

Please register for this campaign (below) if you'd either like to enter or just like to be kept informed of progress.

May the Force be with you.

Love and peace,

WPP Team.
