These images of Woolworths proposed Big Box in Mullumbimby were current one year ago. Woolworths have changed their design several times since then. MCAN have not seen their current proposed plans, although Byron Shire Council recently acquired a copy. Byron Shire Councillors will be voting, probably either on 11 June or 2 July, on whether or not to approve Woolworths "Sewer-on-a-Bog" on-site sewerage management plans. The numerous onsite applications to date have been described by some in the local industry as "ludicrous" (Duncan Dey and Garry Scott) and contravene Byron Shire Policy and NSW Health Department Guidelines. For all the latest details, including all archived activities (YouTube videos, etc) as well as documentation and planned future activities, and info on how to lobby councillors See Mullumbimby Community Action Network's site: www.mullumaction.org This space may be used for discussions, and when community-wide decisions need to be made, an issue may be submitted here and the UP on-line decision-making technology may be utilised. Decisions can be made within Mullumbimby only or shire-wide. Also see Mullumbimby Forum Inc. website at: www.magicalmullum.com
